Artist Statment

Veto explore the intricacies of language abstraction, the anti-archive and the reprocessing of information. Navigating the fields where information dwells, veto's work provides a new realm for knowledge to co-exist that is silent, inarticulate, and abstract. Their community practice centres accessible, joyful, and more tender approaches to existing within art and cultural spheres. As a facilitator, they reimagine work culture and modes of productivity, shifting towards cultivating workspaces that prioritize care. By exploring ways of incorporating play, stimming, and self-expression these spaces, veto roots these shifts as powerful acts of resistance.
